It's difficult for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have already been conquered.

That it took up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

When she was removed Australia needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if we do, we are confident we can achieve it."

That comment will be the last rival teams at this tournament need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this success following success over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a major tournament.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

Yet even as she afterwards confessed those physical issues have delayed thoughts of retirement, this tournament is anticipated as her concluding event as leader in ODI cricket and she is still to achieve a world championship as skipper.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her last major obstacle.
