Emergency response teams handled 598 calls for help across the state, mainly for building damage but also for fallen timber and flooding.

At one point on the previous day, over 28,000 power users in Victoria were without power.
Weather Forecast
Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of eastern Queensland this week as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
The following day was predicted as the most rainy day, with continued storm activity predicted across multiple regions of both states.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
